'Oxo Bio-PO (Oxo-Biodegradable Polyolefin) Protective Tape' Aims for Mass Adoption

with a Focus on Environmentally Friendly ESG Management Companies.

Prominent film extrusion specialist, Samdong Industries Co., Ltd., and eco-friendly film certification and supply provider, Eco Greentech Co., Ltd.,

have joined forces to produce a new material, 'industrial protective tape (film),' aiming for mass production.

On the 27th, Samdong Industries, a leading film extrusion company, and Eco Greentech, an eco-friendly film certification and supply provider,

signed a business agreement for the exclusive supply of environmentally friendly industrial protective films made from

Oxo-Biodegradable Polyolefin (Oxo Bio-PO)

at Eco Greentech's headquarters in Asan, Chungnam Province. Oxo-biodegradable protective films are gaining attention as eco-friendly new materials

that align with carbon neutrality and ESG management.

Under this agreement, Samdong will be responsible for △developing and producing Oxo-Biodegradable protective tape films △promoting sales

△explaining customer products and technologies. Additionally, Eco Greentech will oversee △quality certification and environmental certification

△domestic distribution of Samdong's Oxo-Biodegradable films and the establishment of a sales network.

During the signing ceremony on that day, Samdong Industries was represented by Director Jung Hyun-woo, standing in for CEO Jung Jung-hyo,

while Eco Greentech was represented by CEO Jung Jae-hoon, respectively. Following this, both companies will undergo testing and

ertification for the newly developed products and move towards mass production.

The 'environmentally friendly Eco adhesive protective film' is an eco-friendly industrial film that adheres to surfaces such as stainless steel,

colored steel plates, and construction materials, serving as an alternative to traditional PVC adhesive protective films. Its advantages include not

requiring separate disposal, biodegrading upon contact with microorganisms, and being priced approximately 15% lower than conventional products,

as explained by both companies.

Therefore, both companies expect an influx of orders from ESG-focused businesses in the future, as their production facilities are already in place,

and the certification process is expected to be completed soon.
